As Weather temperatures drop it is important to keep your products warm. When applying base coats in cold temps, lighter coats will dry quicker and are less likely to run (However you will need more coats to achieve proper color coverage and film build). A heat lamp is the best way to speed up the flash times in between base coat applications, and the overall dry time of your base coat. You may also choose to use less reducer in your base coat, which will also help with your flash/dry times. When applying the clear coat in cold temps it is very important to use the correct clear coat hardener for the temperature you will be spaying in. You can and Probably should be also using a kicker or booster additive in your clear coat to decrease flash times. Again a heat lamp will speed flash and dry times.
